Experience and expertise

With over 5 million solid cubic metres of timber harvested, we have completed the most challenging projects. For example, removing Douglas fir trees from a nature reserve or using cable cranes on cycle paths that are impassable for machines.

Fair to people and nature

We believe in honesty and transparency. This is why we offer fair timber measurement (timber intake) based on harvester measurement, and focus on an environmentally friendly harvesting process that is adapted to local weather and soil conditions, for example. We believe that this is the only way to build sustainable business relationships.

Project flow

1

Area Inspection

If we are unfamiliar with the area, we inspect it. We then plan the harvest, calculate the volume of timber to be harvested and determine the use of manpower and machinery. We organise transport, negotiate with sawmills and find a buyer for the timber.

2

Felling and transport

The trees are felled, measured, skidded and transported to the sawmill in a matter of weeks.

3

Sawmill

The timber is delivered directly to sawmills or other customers for further processing.

4

Payout

You will receive your money a few weeks after processing.

5

Reforestation

After the harvest is before the harvest. We are now preparing the land and can start reforestation.

You deserve a smooth timber harvest.

Let's talk

Common questions about timber harvesting

When do you harvest wood?

Timber is usually harvested during the winter months, as the soil is then frozen and damage to the area can thus be minimized.
However, in cases of pest infestation or other urgent cases, the harvest is carried out as quickly as possible, regardless of the season.

In which countries do you offer timber harvesting?

We offer timber harvesting services throughout Germany. Timber harvesting is also available in Austria and other European countries on request.

What machines do you use to harvest timber?

We use the latest technology, such as harvesters and skidders. These enable efficient, accurate and forest friendly harvesting, adapted to the conditions in your area.

Do you offer moon phase timber harvesting?

Yes, we offer sustainable timber harvesting according to the lunar calendar. This wood has increased strength and stability as it is harvested at a time of low sap tension. This makes it more durable, less susceptible to pests and ideal for high quality construction projects and furniture.
