FINGERHUT Choir Workshop
For Our Forests
The FINGERHUT Choir Workshop brings together people from forestry and the forest industry with the general public, all in a natural setting.
Why the FINGERHUT Choir Workshop?
Germany's forests are struggling. Many people are aware of this – but hardly anyone knows the exact reasons. This is precisely where we step in: We make the forest tangible again and bring it back into the heart of society. At the FINGERHUT Choir Workshop, we combine music, education, and community. We sing together in the midst of nature, listen to understandable insights into the state of our forests, and engage in open discussions. Singing quickly creates a strong sense of community – people who were strangers before suddenly sing in the same rhythm. From this team spirit, a deep, constructive exchange quickly develops: a dialogue on equal terms between forestry and the public about how we can protect our forests and make them fit for the future. The event culminates in a public final concert – a visible sign that sustainable forest management is not the problem, but part of the solution. We already experienced this in 2025: The first 40 singers came together – with genuine 'aha!' moments and a final concert in front of several hundred people. See for yourself how it feels:
