We provide forest owners and communities with a comprehensive reforestation service - from planning and advice to funding applications and implementation. We offer a 95% growth guarantee. This gives you peace of mind and reduces the risk of unexpected replanting and extra costs. We only use high quality seedlings, even from your favourite nursery. This gives you full control over quality and provenance.
GPS recording
Every seedling is tagged with GPS. This allows us to track the condition of your forest at all times. This technology opens the door to automated maintenance: machines can specifically regulate accompanying vegetation and wild growth, allowing your trees to grow undisturbed. This saves costs and increases efficiency and maintenance quality - perfect for forest owners who want to get the most out of their forest in the long term.
Planting teams
Our planting teams receive regular training at our own Silva Futura training centre. They are skilled in manual and mechanical planting techniques and can reliably assess the quality of planting material. We use only German-speaking foremen to ensure clear communication on site. With leisure programmes, we create an environment in which our employees are happy and motivated to work. This is how we achieve our unique 95% growth guarantee.

We will visit your site and analyse the conditions to develop a tailor-made planting strategy.
Planting plan
On this basis, we work with a forester - from your team or ours - to produce a detailed planting plan. We take into account the forest development types (WET) to determine the width of the planting rows.
Our Offer
You will receive a quote for the entire implementation, accurate to the penny. Where possible, we will apply for grants to minimise your project costs.
Planting
We can provide the plants on request and discuss the planting plan with our foremen on site. Planting is then carried out smoothly and to plan, with each plant accurately recorded by GPS. All in accordance with PEFC and FSC requirements.
Insurance
On request, we can offer you insurance against climate-related damage. If a young tree fails in the first five years due to climatic damage, the insurance will replace it.

Which planting techniques do you use?
We work with experienced planting teams who are skilled in both manual and mechanical techniques. This gives us the flexibility to adapt to local conditions and choose the best method for your forest.
Where do the cuttings come from?
We source our cuttings from our partner nursery in Wippstadt (DE), but are happy to work with your favourite tree nursery.
What are forest development types (WET)?
Forest development types (WET) show which tree species are suitable for particular sites. They take into account climate, soil and water balance to create resilient and sustainable forests.
What certifications does FINGERHUT have for planting?
We work to PEFC and FSC standards.
